I've put this off....I've kept it to myself mostly....a week ago when everyone was posting condolenses I was still in shock and couldn't even put my brain together enough to post anything. My Puddin is gone... Ginny Talamasca is a huge name in SL....there isn't hardly a person who doesn't know about Ginny or Last Call/Dazzle....but to me Ginny was just Puddin. I met Ginny a little over 2 years ago, we were both setting up stores at a new mall and ran into each other. Ginny was so sweet, a new designer at the time and told me how much he liked my work, I was very flattered. He invited me to rent on his island Innamoramento, and I did...little did I know that was going to be the begining of a close friendship. Soon we were chatting almost everyday about this or that, exchanging lengthy phone calls and as the days flew by I watch Ginny become more and more talented. He always had such a gift for knowing what women want to wear. He was totally adorable, witty, goofy and very generous...and no matter how big Dazzle or Last Call was he was still humble....every snotty remark still got to him, and there were plenty....when you are that popular there are always people who want to bring you down. He was also very generous with his knowledge...he taught me ways to improve my designs when I was stuck or frustrated. He touched my SL and my RL. I will miss our late night gossip sessions and his drive by "<3>

That's right! I'm having a BOGO this weekend! It starts Friday night Midnight and runs through Monday night Midnight. SL time. How does it work you ask? Well, you buy as many items as you like then you create a notecard, with you name as the title, and put the names of the items you would like for free on the notecard and pass it to me. Lately there has been a big need for patience in my RL and my SL. RL I've been dealing with health issues and all of the joys and woes of being a new step-parent to a 5 year old. In SL I've moved my home store, which everyone knows can be a big ole pain but it's also a blessing. I'm trying to work on new designs, keep up with rents and customer service needs and frankly right now I'm just worn out. So not only do I need patience but I ask of everyone else to please have a little patience with me, I promise to try my best. Ok, well my main store is moving anyway. The sim where my main store is currently is being overtaken by giant buildings and horrid lag! Thanks to my SL Sissy Zazas Oz, she is the designer behind Rufeena, her main store is there as well, I will now have a new home and Gigantic store on the Island of Urantia. You'll find the location in my Picks and also should pop up in find starting tomorrow 3/12. :) I'm excited because the big store means I'll be able to expand my selection. I'll have a "Bargain Corner" with items all under $150L and also I'll have weekly "Specials" throughout the store that will be 1/2 off and marked with a special sticker. Also on the island we'll be hosting Tringo games....soon to be Tringo 2.0 YAY! I think it's going to be an awesome change, I hope you all agree with me!

So I'm working on a BUNCH of stuff right now....why? Wellll.....on March 3rd at 4pm I'm having a fashion show at Aspire. YIPEE! I will be releasing a few things before then but the bulk of the designs will be on sale after the show is over. Here's a pic of some jeans I've been working on....they are a little diff as they have prim attachements to make the pant legs longer....also the corset is something that I'm working on as well..... I've been learning alot design-wise and I can't wait to see what everyone thinks of the new collection. :)

Yes, I know, I live in California and I am not knee deep in snow, therefore I should NOT be bitching about winter but it's fricken cold!! I'm from San Diego where it's beautiful 90% of the year....now I'm living up north of San Fran and it's been in the 20's and 30's at night! So, it's already like mid-january and alot of you are wondering (yes, I've gotten the IM's) Where the hell is Flamenco?!? Well...the deal is...I was getting ready to take pics for the ads and I noticed a flaw in my prim skirt....me being the nut that I am decided to do the entire thing over....and then of course had to redo the other 2 skirts....and added a totally new full ballgown skirt AND redid the sleeves.....to most everyone else the dress looks exactly the same but I notice the difference...like I said I'M A NUT! So...I'm almost done with all 3 colors...so I promise they'll be out in my stores this weekend and I'll post them on the forums Monday. I was super proud when Sabrina Doolittle blogged them on Linden Lifestyles...she really likes the red version I sent her way. :) *happy dance* Oh and just to tease you...here's another picture with the Mini version, in blue :D

I've been a busy girl! 'Bout time huh! So, this is my last "holiday" update....the next clothes will be winter inspired but not Christmasy.

Frosty: Light Blue Wintery Capris and Tank, in the real world we'd freeze our butt off in this but in SL it's just cute!

Jingle: This is a re-do of one of my Christmas dresses from '05. Very Santa Claus inspired.

Merry: Bright red Christmas party dress/babydoll complete with sparkly accents and a big red bow.

Noir: Black strapless Top with flexi mini or flexi full length skirt. It would be a great New Years Eve party dress or as a friend told me a great "clubbing" dress for dancing.

I'm working on getting them out everywhere but so far they are only at my main location in Topgol. ENJOY!

BTW...all my 2006 Holiday items go away for good on Dec 26.

As most of you know I STILL have not re-opened my main store after moving the location. RL has been very hectic, stressful and not condusive to working on my SL business lately. Horrid migraines and out of control Diabetes aren't helping matters either. I've gotten the IM's....I thank everyone for their well wishes and support and I promise to get things up and running before I leave for vacation Weds. I am going home(down to San Diego) for Thanksgiving with my fiance and his daughter and I am so excited I could just pop!

I decided it was time to move....I've been in Hennepin for almost 2 years WOW and I decided that I wanted a little growing room(the rest of the sim is owned by someone else) so....I bought new land on the South detached "mainland", at least that's what they called it LOL....anyhoo...it's flat, green and quiet(so far) and I think it will make a lovely location. Sylfie will be rejoining me once I'm up and running so don't worry, you can get your shoe fix while shopping at my Boutique. I hope to be up and Running no later than Monday night but we'll see....depends on how much i have to bug my fiancee to come in and reset up my Taj Mahal shop, he's the one that built it after all...and I'm just not a building builder so you'd see all the crooked prims if I did it LOL. I'll send out and IM to my group, post it on the forums and here once the new store is open for business. :))

IT'S TIME TO REDO SOME OLDIES BUT GOODIES

Due to several customer requests I've done some re-do's. First I recolored my J'adore dress in 6 other colors. They are available in a multipack or seperately. Next I redid the prim skirts of 2 of my most popular gowns. They are now flexified and I am LOVING the way the skirts came out! It makes the line of the dress look very elegant instead of big and poofy like the traditional prim skirts. Right now they are only at my main location but I'll get them out to others throughout the weekend. Also, for those of you who already own the Iris and Black Diamonds Gowns, I have just the new flexi skirt packaged next to the gown at my main store for $1 so you can upgrade. PHEW IT'S HOT!!! I almost worked myself into a puddle of sweat making this one today in the heat....no A/C in this room EEK! But, I was a good little designer and I got it done YAY! I''m loving the way it turned out....It's at the main store right now, yes, I'll get it out to more locations tomorrow...I'm tired! It comes with 5 tops, one is not pictured, shorts and a flexi skirt. I used 2 layers of prims on the skirt to make it look a little fuller, more poofy. $250L Come and get 'em!! :)) Hopefully tomorrow it will be a little less like a sweatbox in here and I'll be able to get some more things done.

Sadly, I have had to close down the Market and sell off most of the land. I'm spending so much time going back and forth between here and my bf's place up in Northern California that I just wasn't able to dedicate enough time to it. Also due to some health reasons my RL finances are in the toilet right now and it helps to teir down and make some cash from the land sale. I will miss the Market like crazy! I loved it and I recieved SO many compliments on it from vendors and customers, I know they loved it too. BUT, RL is more important right now. I WILL be spending more time designing though since I won't be spending it on maintaining the Market. My Main store location is still there and is currently under construction...it should be finished tomorrow and up and running again. I'll have a bunch of new stuff to put out YAY! Ok, I feel like I'm rambling....so I'll shut up!

After spending the better part of the past 2 months with my bf, up in northern Cali, I'm back home again. I have several items in the works and I can't wait to get crankin' on them!

Also, I read about Torrid's needing items for the RFL silent auction on PXP and I'm going to whip up something "one of a kind" and hope it raises some money :) Since the start of "Pixels in Pink" and RFL in SL I've wanted to do SOMETHING but wasnt sure what other than just donate L$. Cancer is something that has touched my life in many ways.... I had a Great-Aunt who died of breast cancer....I have an Aunt who is surviving breast cancer....I have a close friend who had testicular cancer and is now cancer free.....I have a close gf who survived a rare cancer of the muscle tissue, after surgeries, radiation treatments and a 2nd occurance she's now cancer free.....I myself was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer 3 years ago and for 2 agonizing months, through a biopsy and a surgery I wondered what was going to be the outcome BUT through some crazy twist of fate it turned out that my tumor was NOT cancer and luckily I got to keep the remaining 1/2 of my thyroid(which is working just fine thank god). I hope everyone takes this cause to their heart and opens their SL and RL wallets to help as much as they can.

Here's the latest....Unzipped! I decided to call it that because the Jean Capris are duh, Unzipped! hehe I was making the jeans and thought that would be an interesting look. I made them open just a teeny bit to give a peek at the low low tummy....sexy not trashy Maybe you just went out with the girls and you ate WAY too much pizza and then indulged in a hot fudge sundae and you just GOTTA undo your skin tight jeans. Not that we EVER eat in SL but hey, it's the imagination isn't it. I put them in a pack for $250L instead of just making the brown that the original shirt was. Yes, I did photosource the shirt, added some shading, changed the straps and voila MY shirt. I've been wearing it with a brown leather belt from Shiny Things and my new Rebel Stilettos from Sylfie's( those teddybear charms are fricken adorable!!)

Okie, I FINNNNALLY got these Ad's done and posted them on the forum! Damn, I'm lazy!

The first is the Non-Prim version of the Salsa Dress, it's called Athena cause it has kind of a Greeky/Romanish look(at least I think it does).

The second set I have had in the works for a month and I'm finally happy with it. Girly, casual, sweet and daisylicious(daisy lace on the bodice and sleeves). I made matching jeans that are slightly distressed to go along with it. It looks super comfy, dunno about you but I want it IRL! Oh, and I made the Top longer on Jacket layer for the preggers ladies(and the non-preggers ladies too, I like to wear the long ones with booty shorts LOL)

OK....I know I've been using my blog to post about my OWN items BUT....I bought this dress from Dazzle last night and OMFG! I am in LOVE! I feel UBER girly, cutesy and due to the low neckline HAWT! I've paired it with my Lassitude & Ennui mules. I am usually the kinda girl who changes outfits several times a day but I could honestly wear this for eons and never get bored with it. Yay Ginny! Tank Yee for being a kick ass designer but more importantly Tank Yee for being a kick ass friend :)

I finally got around to making the ads for these....boy sometimes....I lag about that....have something made for days, sometimes longer and haven't made the ad so I can't put it up for sale. I'm sure I'm not the only designer who does that but makes me feel L-A-Z-Y! So far I put out Blue, Green and Purple...I also made a red version but I of course haven't done the ad yet for it. I've been wearing diff combos of this dress for a couple weeks now and I'm still lovin' it and let me tell you that is rare for one of my own designs...usually i love it for about a day then I want something new, typical SL shopoholic I suppose. I guess I'm a little diff than most designers in that I don't always wear my own clothes...I don't always make the type of outfit I'm in the mood for. It's never fun though when someone starts raving at you about the dress you are wearing and telling you what a wonderful job you did and you have to break it to them that it's not one of yours LOL. Oh well....anyway....hope you like! :)

Yay...I joined the Blog club! Today is the start of Hair Fair in SL and OMG...I stopped by last night after midnight and almost went into hair shock! I wanted to BUY BUY BUY and I know before it's over I'll have spent oodles of money and need 10 heads to wear all the hair I'm gonna buy. LOL They've done the shoe wars and now we have Hair Fair....we need a Fashion Expo! Damn, why don't I have an island?? Annnyway....I think lately in SL, as a designer, I've been very frustrated! I read Torrid Midnight's blog today and I am totally with her on the idea that, as a designer you come out with an outfit you absolutely LOVE and you swear it's going to be a HUGE hit and then "dum dum dum" nobody buys it It leaves you thinking, am I that out of touch with what people want in here? I know that we all have a different style and in SL there is everything from Goth to Vamp to Casual to Sexy to Trashy to BOHO to Elegant and the list goes on and on but DANG! am I THAT off on my own clientele? Sometimes it's just frustratin'! YA KNOW! Another thing that has been buggin me is the whole Photosource issue.... Yes, I do photosource...I take a picture of a dress, shirt, skirt, pants that I'm loving and then I warp it, tweak it, change it up, move parts of it here or there, add shading, lines, other elements and make it MINE. Some say that I should be able to take a piece of fabric and turn it into that outfit I saw, and at times, I have done that, BUT I'm never as happy with the end result as I am when I start with that original picture. Maybe some designers in SL don't respect my work because of it but I feel like that's being an elitist and a snob. OK, enough rambling for today, I'm going to get back to working on my newest creation and hoping that someone out there loves what I do as much as I do :)
