HOWDAY! I FINALLY got with the flexi wave and flexified one of my existing dresses to start out with, get my feet wet so to speak....Here are the pics....there will be more flexiness coming soon from JB I'm sure!! :))

Here's my 2nd hand drawn attempt. Lovin' it! It's so hot here right now I wish I had something that light and airy to wear, I'm roasting! It's out at my main store....I'll get it out in other spots after I come back from din din (a girls gotta eat yanno!).

WOW! I actually made something new! LOL It's ABOUT time! I'm pretty proud of these because they are the first ALL hand draw tops I've made. YAY!! Hand drawing definetly takes time and patience but the outcome is so rewarding. OK, back to work for me! No rest for the wicked!! ;)

I'm baaaaack!!

I'm back! Been on vacation for over 2 weeks and had a blast with my RL and SL Love. I've totally missed ALL the flexi stuff going on and boy oh boy do I feel out of the loop!!! I promise to get my ass in gear and get some new stuff done pronto! :))

Here's the latest....Unzipped! I decided to call it that because the Jean Capris are duh, Unzipped! hehe I was making the jeans and thought that would be an interesting look. I made them open just a teeny bit to give a peek at the low low tummy....sexy not trashy Maybe you just went out with the girls and you ate WAY too much pizza and then indulged in a hot fudge sundae and you just GOTTA undo your skin tight jeans. Not that we EVER eat in SL but hey, it's the imagination isn't it. I put them in a pack for $250L instead of just making the brown that the original shirt was. Yes, I did photosource the shirt, added some shading, changed the straps and voila MY shirt. I've been wearing it with a brown leather belt from Shiny Things and my new Rebel Stilettos from Sylfie's( those teddybear charms are fricken adorable!!)

Okie, I FINNNNALLY got these Ad's done and posted them on the forum! Damn, I'm lazy!

The first is the Non-Prim version of the Salsa Dress, it's called Athena cause it has kind of a Greeky/Romanish look(at least I think it does).

The second set I have had in the works for a month and I'm finally happy with it. Girly, casual, sweet and daisylicious(daisy lace on the bodice and sleeves). I made matching jeans that are slightly distressed to go along with it. It looks super comfy, dunno about you but I want it IRL! Oh, and I made the Top longer on Jacket layer for the preggers ladies(and the non-preggers ladies too, I like to wear the long ones with booty shorts LOL)

LITTLE BO PEEP?

OK....I know I've been using my blog to post about my OWN items BUT....I bought this dress from Dazzle last night and OMFG! I am in LOVE! I feel UBER girly, cutesy and due to the low neckline HAWT! I've paired it with my Lassitude & Ennui mules. I am usually the kinda girl who changes outfits several times a day but I could honestly wear this for eons and never get bored with it. Yay Ginny! Tank Yee for being a kick ass designer but more importantly Tank Yee for being a kick ass friend :)

OMG it's so late.....oh I guess I should say early 5am EEK! Wanted to plop this on here before I hit the sack. My newest and dare I say sexiest or trashiest....however you want to play it. It's called SALSA and it's inspired by the little dresses the Salsa dancers wear, ok I admit it, I watched Dancing with the Stars *wince*. Annnyyyhoooo.....I better get the pics on here before I pass out on my keyboard and wake up with an impression of the Enter key in my forehead. Nite Nite!

New Variete Colors

I finally got around to making the ads for these....boy sometimes....I lag about that....have something made for days, sometimes longer and haven't made the ad so I can't put it up for sale. I'm sure I'm not the only designer who does that but makes me feel L-A-Z-Y! So far I put out Blue, Green and Purple...I also made a red version but I of course haven't done the ad yet for it. I've been wearing diff combos of this dress for a couple weeks now and I'm still lovin' it and let me tell you that is rare for one of my own designs...usually i love it for about a day then I want something new, typical SL shopoholic I suppose. I guess I'm a little diff than most designers in that I don't always wear my own clothes...I don't always make the type of outfit I'm in the mood for. It's never fun though when someone starts raving at you about the dress you are wearing and telling you what a wonderful job you did and you have to break it to them that it's not one of yours LOL. Oh well....anyway....hope you like! :)

*Wave* HELLO!

Yay...I joined the Blog club! Today is the start of Hair Fair in SL and OMG...I stopped by last night after midnight and almost went into hair shock! I wanted to BUY BUY BUY and I know before it's over I'll have spent oodles of money and need 10 heads to wear all the hair I'm gonna buy. LOL They've done the shoe wars and now we have Hair Fair....we need a Fashion Expo! Damn, why don't I have an island?? Annnyway....I think lately in SL, as a designer, I've been very frustrated! I read Torrid Midnight's blog today and I am totally with her on the idea that, as a designer you come out with an outfit you absolutely LOVE and you swear it's going to be a HUGE hit and then "dum dum dum" nobody buys it It leaves you thinking, am I that out of touch with what people want in here? I know that we all have a different style and in SL there is everything from Goth to Vamp to Casual to Sexy to Trashy to BOHO to Elegant and the list goes on and on but DANG! am I THAT off on my own clientele? Sometimes it's just frustratin'! YA KNOW! Another thing that has been buggin me is the whole Photosource issue.... Yes, I do photosource...I take a picture of a dress, shirt, skirt, pants that I'm loving and then I warp it, tweak it, change it up, move parts of it here or there, add shading, lines, other elements and make it MINE. Some say that I should be able to take a piece of fabric and turn it into that outfit I saw, and at times, I have done that, BUT I'm never as happy with the end result as I am when I start with that original picture. Maybe some designers in SL don't respect my work because of it but I feel like that's being an elitist and a snob. OK, enough rambling for today, I'm going to get back to working on my newest creation and hoping that someone out there loves what I do as much as I do :)
